The ranch is the laboratory.
STEM is at the heart of Liberty Academy. Students do not just read about science, technology, engineering, and math. They experience it through the ranch.
They may test soil health in the garden, measure plant growth in the greenhouses, study pollination through beehives, calculate water usage, track weather patterns, monitor the lake ecosystem, design irrigation systems, or help solve real ranch problems.
A math lesson may become dividing a harvest between the school kitchen, retail store, and canning line. A science lesson may become managing fish health in the lake. Engineering may become building a simple irrigation system. At Liberty Academy, learning has a purpose students can see.
